I was born and raised in Cardston, Alberta Canada. I moved to Utah in 1994 to attend university, where I met and married my sweet husband (Mike). I graduated cum laude from BYU's David O. McKay School of Education in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Audiology (Communication Disorders), and I minored in Family Science. I have completed two school internships in elementary classroom settings.
I am a mother to 6 wonderful children (5 sons and 1 daughter).
Throughout my children's education, I have enjoyed being involved. I have served as Orchard Elementary's PTA President (2012-2013), Orchard Elementary's PTA Musical Theater Music Director (2011, 2012, 2016, and 2017), and served in various positions on the PTA board (Legislative VP, Reflections Chair, and Volunteer Coordinator).
